Multi-Language Support

You can provide a list of allowed languages that your Universal Bot can detect or translate, as well as providing a fallback language.

The Aisera Gen AI platform works includes a Language Detection and Translation Service that determines the language used for the Request and returns the Response in the same language.

As you can see in the diagram above, the application/bot can use language detection, and role, API-based, or metadata based access control to restrict the content that is returned to each application/bot user.

To set allowed languages:

  1. Navigate to Settings >AiseraGPT.

  2. Choose your existing application/bot.

  3. Click the pencil icon to edit the AiseraGPT Details window.

  4. Select the Advanced tab on the Edit AiseraGPT window.

  5. Check the Multi-language Handling checkbox.

This allows you to fill in the other language parameters:

Default Language: Choose a default language. Support all 85+ languages: Check this box if you want your bot to support all languages in the Supported Language List. NOTE: As of 10/21/2025, the following languages are listed as supported. This list is provided for your convenience. Please see your actual Aisera Admin UI for the latest supported list. - Afrikaans - Albanian - Amharic - Arabic - Azerbaijani - Bengali - Bosnian - Bulgarian - Chinese (Simplified) - Chinese (Traditional) - Croatian - Czech - Danish - Dari - Dutch - English - Estonian - Finnish - French - French (Canadian) - Georgian - German - Greek - Hausa - Hebrew - Hindi - Hungarian - Indonesian - Italian - Japanese - Korean - Latvian - Malay - Norwegian - Persian - Pashto - Polish - Portuguese - Romanian - Russian - Serbian - Slovak - Slovenian - Somali - Spanish - Spanish (Mexico) - Swahili - Swedish - Tagalog - Tamil - Thai - Turkish - Ukrainian - Urdu - Vietnamese Supported Language List: Choose the checkboxes next to languages from the list if you want to restrict your application/bot to only those languages.

If a user Request is detected to be in a language other than the allowed list, your Universal Bot will fall back to its default language (in this case English).

The applications/bots can recognize regions in user Requests, such as APAC, EMEA, or EU, and can respond with an appropriate response for the region instead of for a specific country.
