Work with the Structured Hyperflow Prompt Editor

Create and refine agent configurations using structured sections, AI-assisted generation, and per-section optimization.

Prerequisites

  • The Structured Hyperflow Prompt Editor feature flag must be enabled. See Enable Guided Agent Authoring.

  • You must have access to AI Automation > Hyperflows in the Aisera Admin UI.

Create a new Hyperflow

  1. In the Aisera Admin UI, navigate to AI Automation > Hyperflows.

  2. Select + New Hyperflow in the upper-right corner.

  3. Enter a Name and Description for the Hyperflow. Optionally, add Use Cases.

  4. Select OK.

  5. In the next window, describe the agent's persona and intended function in plain language.

  6. Select Generate.

The Structured Prompt Editor uses your description to generate the initial prompt configuration. The Hyperflow Details screen opens with the structured sections, including Agent Persona and Agent Responsibilities, populated and ready to review.

Open an existing Hyperflow in the Structured Prompt Editor

Hyperflows that use the Structured Prompt Editor schema open automatically in the structured editor.

  1. Navigate to AI Automation > Hyperflows.

  2. Select the Hyperflow you want to edit.

The Hyperflow Details screen opens with the section-based editor. Hyperflows that use the standard editor schema open in the standard editor instead.

Edit a section

Each section contains its own rich text editor. Edit sections directly using Markdown or the formatting toolbar.

  1. Edit the content in the section you want to update.

  2. Select Save in the upper-right corner of the editor when done.

Insert a built-in variable

Use the variable picker to insert built-in variables into a section without typing their names.

  1. In the section you want to edit, place your cursor where you want the variable to appear.

  2. Select the ellipsis icon in the upper-right corner of the section editor. The variable picker opens as a dropdown list.

  3. Select a variable from the list.

The editor inserts the variable at your cursor location.

Regenerate the agent configuration

Use Generate when you want to replace the entire prompt configuration with a new version based on an updated behavior description.

  1. In the Structured Prompt Editor, select Generate.

  2. The Define Hyperflow window opens. Describe the desired agent behavior in plain language.

  3. Select Generate in the window.

The Structured Prompt Editor generates a new configuration and replaces the content in all sections.

Optimize the prompt

Use Optimize to improve the quality of the entire prompt configuration. The Structured Prompt Editor applies prompt engineering principles to refine clarity and structure across all sections while preserving their intent.

  1. Select Optimize in the upper-right corner of the editor.

  2. Review the updated content across all sections.

  3. Select Save if the result meets your expectations, or revert the changes.

Optimize requires you to review and save the changes. It does not save automatically.

Revert an optimization

After optimizing, select the revert arrow in the upper-right corner of the editor. Hovering over it displays Revert to pre-optimized version. The content in all sections reverts to the version before optimization.

View the full prompt

Use Full Prompt to see all section content compiled into a single read-only view. Use it to validate the complete prompt before testing or publishing.

  1. Select the eye icon and Full Prompt label at the top of the editor.

  2. Review the compiled prompt.

  3. Select Copy to copy the content if needed.

Copied prompt content is in Markdown format.

Test and publish

After editing, use the standard Test and Publish actions on the Hyperflow Details screen to validate and publish your changes. See Test and Debug a Hyperflow.
