Step 1 - Condition Parameters
The first step for Knowledge Generation is to fill in the Condition Parameters
Navigate to Content Generation > Knowledge Generation.
Select Actions > Configuration.
Under Conditions, there is an option called Job Name where you can add the name of the job before running the Knowledge Generation.

You can run previous Knowledge Base Article Generation Jobs by adding the generation job ID and the bot ID.

Choose the fields that you want to use as Filter Conditions. This includes the name of the Ticket Field and the Condition that you want to use to filter the job results.

Examples of fields you can use include: Data Source, Status, Ticket Type and Custom Ticket fields. IMPORTANT NOTE: Multiple selections for a single Field Name act as “OR” operations, while multiple Field Conditions for a single Field Name act as “AND” operations.
The Data Source selection is mandatory. You can choose multiple Data Sources from which the Tickets should be considered. The rest of the options are optional.
If you leave the Max Tickets Count blank, it indicates that all Tickets in the selected Data Source are being considered. If you specify a limit, the tickets will be randomly selected from the chosen Data Sources until the maximum number is reached.
Incremental - Choose incremental, if you want to generate the document for the Tickets that were ingested after the previous job run.

You no longer have to specify an External System Type before you Add a Field and assign a value to that field that will be shared by all knowledge articles that contain the field. The External System Type field is now optional.

Assigning values to fields is often used to ‘tag’ groups of tickets or knowledge articles into categories.
Check Data Source Setting for Auto-Commit
You can now set the Auto-Commit feature if the Data Source Function or File Type was set to Knowledge Base when you added the Data Source.
In the following example, the Data Source Function is set to Knowledge Base Learning.

In the example below, the File Type is set to Knowledge Base.
