# Supported Auth Types for Custom Integrations

The Aisera Platform supports a number of authorization types when [creating an Integration](/aisera-platform/adding-data-to-your-tenant/integrations-and-data-sources/creating-a-connector/adding-and-managing-integrations-in-your-tenant.md). Integrations are used to securely store and manage credentials and connection methods. Integrations are found by navigating to **Settings > Integrations.**

Integrations are used on the Aisera Platform in connectors, Workflows and Hyperflows, and channels. Many Out of the Box (OOB) Integrations exist on the Aisera Platform, allowing you to quickly add the credentials required to connect to your third party application to your tenant.

If you are connecting your Aisera Platform to an applic[NextBasic Authentication](https://app.gitbook.com/o/c99bGZu7Q50seWWLiXHE/s/vBFXjH9S1CAy9f5hzg5Q/~/edit/~/changes/1398/adding-data-to-your-tenant/integrations-and-data-sources/supported-auth-types-for-custom-integrations/basic-authentication)ation that does not have an OOB Integration, you can [create a generic integration](/aisera-platform/adding-data-to-your-tenant/integrations-and-data-sources/using-the-generic-connector.md#integration-setup) using one of the supported Auth Types discussed in this section.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.aisera.com/aisera-platform/adding-data-to-your-tenant/integrations-and-data-sources/supported-auth-types-for-custom-integrations.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
