Service Catalog Items

Service Catalog data is ingested if you are using a ServiceNow data source that includes catalog items.

If your data source includes service catalog items, you will see them displayed in the SOR > Service Catalog window after you have completed the Integration and Data Source connection steps that link your ServiceNow instance with your Aisera GenAI platform tenant (instance of the Aisera platform).

The example above displays IT catalog items that you might make available to your internal customers through catalog entries that application/bot users can choose.

The Name (Title) of the item, the Description, and the date and time the item was last updated in the Serivice Catalog are displayed in the Service Catalog Items window.

You can use the icons in the upper-right corner of the window to display the list or copy the list for Export or Import.

NOTE: When you implement catalog choices within an applicaation/bot, it will not match the exact experience that you users would have with a browser. There are some pre-page loads and other HTML or JavaScript abilities that are not possible to duplicate within application/bot parameters.

Choose a Catalog Item from the list to open the Service Catalog Item Details window..

The Service Catalog Item Details window includes the following fields:
